SILVERCHAIR Promote "Diorama" Release With The Edge Summer Jam Appearances
February 15, 2002To coincide with the release of their new album Diorama in early April, Australia's SILVERCHAIR will return to New Zealand to headline The Edge Summer Jam concerts in Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton.
SILVERCHAIR's new single, "The Greatest View" has already debuted at No. 3 in the Australian Charts. It's been the most downloaded song in that country's history and has also been receiving saturation airplay in New Zealand.
SILVERCHAIR's drummer Ben Gillies, says that the Newcastle based trio is looking forward to returning to NZ after spending most of 2001 making Diorama.
"We're hanging out to have people hear the new songs after spending so long making this album", Gillies said. "We've always had a really good time in New Zealand and these shows sound like they'll be a lot of fun."
